the anime got me hyped, the original 4 games remain some of my favorite games of all time. The 3 GU games were also pretty fun, but this 4th game... I don't know why, after so long it just feels so overdramatized. I did really enjoy the anime-like cutscenes with the smoothing though, pretty slick. The music of the series did so much carrying for me.

THis scene makes it perfectly clear that Ovan is the version of Tri Edge who data drained Haseo. It wasn't Ovan appeared, beat down Tri Edge and data drained Haseo on top of Tri Edge being there, rather Ovan IS Tri Edge, or one of them. I know the writers would later change the story, but this scene makes it perfectly clear, Ovan was supposed to be the Tri Edge that was data draining the players.
